YOUR LEARNING PATHWAY

From business foundations to delivery readiness

The centre brings learning into a clear sequence. You can begin with the foundations, return to a topic that needs attention, and use short activities to turn the lesson into a practical next step.

Build your foundations

Understand company-registration records, business banking and the Central Supplier Database. The companion lessons connect these foundations to the preparation your business needs before pursuing an opportunity.

Prepare a stronger bid

Learn to shortlist suitable opportunities, organise a compliance checklist and read the official tender requirements. Practise separating costs, a trading surplus and the timing of cash needed for delivery.

Be ready to deliver

Work through supplier checks, common warning signs, funding-enquiry preparation and delivery records. Use the lessons to identify what you still need to verify before making a commitment.

The four original FTP tutorials are included in the lesson pages. All ten subjects now contain detailed teaching, practical exercises, checklists and twelve-question practice quizzes. The final knowledge check covers thirty questions across the full pathway.

DESIGNED TO HELP YOU LEARN

Education Centre features and functions

Explore the tools in your learning space, from a complete lesson to your next practical business task. Create your free learner account and use the centre at your own pace.

Ten complete practical lessons

Work through business foundations, tender preparation and delivery readiness with detailed teaching, worked examples, FAQs and practical activities. The original Fund The People tutorials are linked where they support the subject.

Your personal learner dashboard

See your learning stages, completed lessons, readiness tasks, quiz achievements and what still needs attention. Your first-name welcome and next-lesson links help you return to the right place.

Languages and reading controls

Choose complete written lessons and lesson practice in eleven text languages. Adjust text size and contrast to suit your reading preferences. The final knowledge check is presented in English.

Female English voice guides

Listen to recorded introductions to lessons and key platform features, then work through the full written teaching. Pause, replay, change playback speed or follow the transcript at your own pace.

Practice with clear explanations

Each lesson includes a twelve-question practice quiz, giving you 120 lesson practice questions across the pathway. Review your score, read the answer explanations and revisit the teaching where you need another look.

Check your understanding

Bring the subjects together in a thirty-question final knowledge check. Review your answers and explanations after submission, then use the sixty-minute revision interval to revisit the lessons before another attempt.

Track your practical readiness

Use a twelve-task checklist to organise your business preparation. Each task connects to the relevant lesson so you can understand what to check and identify a useful next action.

Practise tender costing

Enter example figures to explore delivery costs, surplus before other costs and a possible cash gap. Change the figures to see how the picture moves. This learning tool provides an illustration rather than a funding quote.

Find your way and save a note

Search or filter the learning library, jump to sections inside a lesson and record your next action. Progress and notes are saved in your browser for your learner account; they do not automatically transfer to another device.

Explore tender opportunities

Follow the route to Fund The People’s separate Tender Portal when you are ready to look for opportunities. The centre explains the next step and links to the portal’s own browsing, sign-in and registration routes.

Prepare your funding enquiry

Connect your learning to Fund The People’s funding guidance and embedded four-step enquiry. Review relevant requirements and supporting information before making an enquiry. Learning progress and quiz results do not approve funding.

Share your learning experience

Rate five parts of your experience out of ten, write a review and leave an optional thank-you note. An optional invitation follows your final knowledge check. Feedback stays private unless you permit public display and Fund The People approves it.

YOUR ACCOUNT AND SUPPORT

Why we ask for your details

Your first name gives you a personal welcome. Your email address is used to verify your account and help you regain access. Your contact number allows the Fund The People team to respond to your student enquiry and the support you request.

Your registration is recorded as a student lead and emailed to support@fundthepeople.co.za. Business information and your tender journey are optional. Learning updates and a request for funding contact are separate choices; neither is required to create a learner account.

Lesson progress and action notes are saved in your browser, separately for each signed-in learner. They do not automatically transfer to another device. Keep identity numbers, banking details and passwords out of your learning notes.

The Tender Portal and the funding enquiry are separate services. Your learning account does not replace a Tender Portal sign-in or submit a funding application. When you are ready, the centre shows you the appropriate next route.

Before you register

Is a learner account required?

Learning activities are currently available for preview. You can register for a named learner account. Choose Continue to Learning to explore the current preview.

Is registration free?

Yes. Creating an Education Centre learner account and using the learning activities currently available in the centre is free.

Which details must I provide?

Your first name, surname, email address, contact number and chosen password are required. You must accept the learner terms and privacy notice. Business information and your tender journey are optional. You choose separately whether to receive learning updates or request funding contact.

What happens after I submit the form?

A success message confirms that your learner account has been created. Choose Log In and sign in using your email and the password you chose. Email ownership confirmation is separate and enables any optional updates you requested.

What if the verification email does not arrive?

Check your spam or junk folder and confirm that you entered the correct address. If you still need help, contact support@fundthepeople.co.za. Your existing account remains available. Use Log In or Reset your password; contact support for email-verification help.

Can I return to a lesson later?

Yes. Sign in again to continue. Learning progress and notes remain in the browser where you used the centre, so use the same browser and device when you want to resume that progress.

Does a quiz result qualify me for funding?

No. The quizzes help you check your understanding. Tender and funding decisions follow their own requirements and assessment processes.

Can I listen to the lessons?

Yes. The lessons include female English voice guides with playback controls and transcripts. You can pause for activities and revisit a guide section. The complete written teaching remains available on each lesson page.

Will I need another account for the Tender Portal?

The Tender Portal is a separate service with its own sign-in. The Education Centre explains the route and links you to the portal when you are ready to explore opportunities.

Where can I get help with my learner account?

Email support@fundthepeople.co.za with your name and the email address used for registration. Never send your password.
